Can I have sand dollars with mbuna

as the title goes I have heard mixed opinions....

is it alright to keep say 5 sand dollars with a group of mbuna chiclids?

I tried to search and like i said i have seen various results jsut want to check and get the final yay or nay

sand dollars are saltwater flattened urchins if i am not mistaken.

unless he's talking about something from a rift lake it's an impossibility. the only sand dollar I can think of are marine.

I'd say no. Very few non-mbuna fish can handle the aggression and activity of mbuna.

adult as in how big and how big are your other fish? would like to see a pic if you got one. sounds like a nice setup

I have 6 3 year old silver dollars in my 125g mbuna tank with demasoni, lab hongi,trewavase, hajomalandi and yellow labs.The mbuna are all adult and breeding.Its like they dont even see the dollars as fish,they completely ignore them.

In a small setup i would stem out and so probably not but like the other two members they have large tanks hence the accomplishment more space means more room to flee the area..
