Hello everybody, today I was at my LFS and they had a very beautiful loach in a tank with some rosy barbs and spotted Raphael catfish. I am not 100% sure of the exact species but it was DEFINITELY some kind of botia. It was black and white and it was either spotted or barred. It was in the tank by itself which leads me to believe it would be OK by itself without other loaches (though I do have a rainbow shark in my tank now). It may be an angelicus botia but again, not sure. My question is, once my tank is biologically mature, could I put it in it by itself (meaning just the one loach without other. of the same species) the theme of my tank is peaceful but larger SA cichlids / semi-aggressive community. So do you guys think it would be good in my tank?
