The wife calls them to add more minutes to out family plan, Sure no problem.

Not the voice mail doesn't work. This may not seem like a problem to you but my daughters announcement is my Dad.

This phone # used to be his until he passed away. Over 3 years we have been able to call & hear his voice, the whole family, Me, the wife, the kids, My brother & sister, my dads sister.

Even my dads friends would call & ask my daughter to send them to her voice mail. she did this gladly, and even called herself to hear grampas voice.

Now the message says, the user you are calling has net yet setup voice mail. If they cant get this back, we're all going to be totally crushed ! ! !

I'm sorry to hear that.

Perhaps it will help others move on and realize that he's gone. I know it sucks, but it's a lesson that children need to learn at a young age. I wish I was more prepared for the loss of a loved one when I was young.

Well after 45 mins with customer care, there is nothing they can do to recover it. They say it shouldn't have happened, sorry....

It's not so much not moving on, we all accept he is gone, even the kids. We still have pictures & videos. This was just one more thing that allowed people to reflect. Easy access to that memory is gone, kind of like loosing a favorite picture, the memory is still there, just harder to pull it out.
