Hi everyone I know this tank is overstocked I’m getting rid of some of the fish but I have a 120 gal tank 5 foot long 19 inch wide and my stocking in it just now is one 6-7 inch Oscar one 5 inch jd 2 kissing Gouramis 5.5 inches 2 flag tails ones 5.5 inches ones 5, one female rainbow cichlid 3 to 3.5 inches
And one pleco 6-7 inches. The flower horn would be 4 to 5 inches and I will probably be getting rid of the kissing Gouramis the rainbow cichlid and one or both of the flag tails. View attachment 1476544View attachment 1476545View attachment 1476540View attachment 1476541

This is not really a good idea when my FH was only 2.5 inchs I put 12 large tetras in his 125g tank as dithers to help him feel safer they was more than half his size. He ate ten of then on the first night and since about 3 inches he's always attacked me he now 7+ inches and I can no longer put my hand into my tank.

I would recommend a FH to anyone who had the space but only kept alone. You will WILL lose fish.

Ok thanks for the response and I know it can go either ways. Because someone at my local fish store had put a flower horn in there tank and it killed most of the other fish over night but I’m gonna keep a close eye on the tank and sit onfront of it for a couple hours and see if there’s any aggression and if there’s to much I’ll put him in another tank but thanks again for ur response.
I don't understand this at all. If you have an extra tank for the flowerhorn what's the point of doing this, to see if he/she will tear up fish and THEN decide? It makes no sense.
