can i keep a rd with a butti

i know one is a ca and the other is a african but in a 125 or 150 is it possible so thanks

I think youd have a constant battle between the two. Butti are very nasty fish as adults so are rds. The only thing ive seen people keep with buttis and have long term success is other smaller africans. My butti is only about 6-7" in a 75 gal tank solo and he spends most of his day attacking the rear glass tryin to beat up his reflection.

After a while, one will be dead if you put them together (my guess the RD), unless you have a tank over 500 gallons.

Butti's are way to vicious even for a Red devil unless ur RD is a larger male and your tank is over 150gallons then they might coexist

It could work but the likelihood of it not working is much to high. Both rd and butti are usually best kept solo. You'd end up with one dead very soon
