I am restoring a 135 gallon tank that will be up and running in a month and I posted that I am looking to keep 6 angelicus loaches (max 6"), 4 clown loaches (max 16") and 6 geophagus red head tapajos (max 6-8"). I have since decided to pass on the clown loaches, but I someone said that mixing any loaches, especially smaller ones, with sand sifters was a bad idea. Can anyone tell me their experiences of housing small (6-8") loaches with geos and other cichlids?
