Can i keep Black ghost with stingray

I'm going to buy 12" black ghost but worry about keeping him with my stingray , anybody have idea?dont want he suck off stingray slime coat,,, thank you

Some fish do fine some don't. Never can be 100% sure that just how it is.

Last time my flag tail keep sucking his slime so I have to give flag tail away

BGK is a pretty peaceful fish unless the tankmates r bite size it won't bother them. Plus it doesn't have a sucker mouth to suck slime.

Yeah but the Stingray might kill it. there was a thread on here a long while ago of Stingrays eating other aquarium fish.

we have had a large black ghost living happily with our rays.
He lives in the weir, thinking he's in a cave and no-one can see him
Our flagtail started sucking on the rays so soon got moved to the community tank

It would depend on the ray some like to hunt and some are peaceful. If the ray gos after the ghost I am pretty sure it would be a short struggle

i think it could work. But as others said, if it fails then because the ray attacking the bgk.

I've never heard of BGK being kept with rays before but there are plenty of people here to keep CKs with them, I don't know how much of a difference the species of knife makes.
