  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would say yes, 6ft. x almost 4ft. with a little over 2ft. of depth. Sounds good to me!

This thread is just for ideas, but could i hyperfetically keep my silver arowana in a 72x45x26 tropical pond for life? Or a good few years, on PFK forum most say no. Personnally i think yes, i mean they bend easily, its has loads of width. What do you guys think?

yep, you can keep your silver arowana in there no worries.

yea perfect for the silver just not your rays...

I would think once youe silver is 30 plus inches you'll be able to better judge this. Ofcourse it will take a few years for your silver to reach that length. I'll be moving my silver pair into a similar sized tank by the end of summer, but i hope to be able to provide a bigger tank/pond in the future.

Yeah ive got time and once i move my rays on im gonna get rid of all my tanks in my fish room and install a 8x4x4 or 8x5x4 pond, well thats the plan.

i think it will work fine, but 6ft in lenght will be a little short many years down the road. say it hits 3ft, in a 6ft tank thats pretty tight. would you keep a 5" fish in a 10" tank? but you proboably have atleast 8-10 years to upgrade.
