I have a 75 gallon tank, can make a community of kkp/BPs with one 7-8in fh? Is it advisable?

Every fish has a different temperament but most likely in that size tank the flowerhorn will kill everything else. I wouldn't do it.

How many parrots are you planning on having? And I agree don't do the flower horn in a 75 it'd just beat them to death eventually

I've had blood parrots in with flowerhorns without any problems. You'll be fine with them until they pair up...especially when the fh pairs with a bp. This is when they become territorial and fight for space. You'll have better luck with a larger tank along with decoractions to divide up the space. You've probably noticed at your lfs that a tank full of parrots all get along in a tight space...this is because they're more focused on competing for food.

I really wanted to do exactly what you're talking about because I saw pics of that set up and it looked really cool. I finally got a male flowerhorn that I really liked and then I tried to add some Bp's when he was about 5'inches. He just chased them and beat on them relentlessly until I removed them all from the tank. So, no luck with this for me. He does tolerate a featherfin catfish just fine though.

Hmmmm I guess this is a no go then lol. Anyone have any luck other kinds of fishes then? I know a feather fin was already mentioned.

I think if u want to put ur flowerhorn with other fish u need a bigger tank. Flowerhorn are very aggressive and territorial. It's might be hard to get ur fish to get along with other fish because ur flowerhorn is big now and it know how to dominate other fishes. One way u can try is get a new tank maybe 100+? Then put a divider in then put the fish that u want to be with ur flowerhorn I think any non-aggressive cichlids would go just get one that can defend itself from ur flowerhorn but not dominate ur flowerhorn. Let the other fish get use to the new tank then put ur flowerhorn in on the other side. Ur flowerhorn won't be so territorial once it's in a new tank that it doesn't know anything about it. See how he react to them. Then let them get use to each other it might take a while. Then take the divider out see how they react to each other. Watch them carefully for the next few days. Hope this will work for u and gl. Tbh I had a hard time putting a male and a female together.
