I will be getting so Africans tomorrow for my 55 gal. They will be the only fish in it. I will be getting a 6" male peacock and 3" female peacock.

Aswell as I was getting 2 female 5-6" female "peacocks" off someone else. Judging from the pics I got from him the look like OB zebras.

Is it still okay to mix them? The fish are all currently in community tanks from the separate owners.

OB peacocks have mbuna in them so they mix well with mbuna zebras. Regular peacocks usually don't mix well with mbunas because of the aggressive nature of mbunas. OB zebras are more or less like regular mbuna zebras, fairly aggressive.

Okay. Thanks.

I got a female OB zebra and a female strawberry peacock right now together. The zebra is holding. It does "chase" the peacock a bit. Like if the peacock ci.es near it, it will slowly follow it and maybe nudge it till it leaves.

I will be getting 2 OB peacocks though today or the next couple days so hopefully that will spread aggression.

Okay. Do you think 1 male and 3 female would last for 7 months? After I move I will be getting a 100 gal or larger.

Depends how large they need to grow. But they should be fine until then.
