I'm wondering if it would hurt a tank/ the seals if I move it in this cold weather?

I found a nice 150, but it's 2 hours away. I'm pretty sure it won't fit in my parent's van, so I'd have to put it in the back of my truck. So will this near or below zero weather harm it?

Thanks in advance.

well things get dense when they get colder... glass is a lil more likely to crack... so just made sure its padded int hat truck... and that nothing is wet.... if the tank is dry seals shouldnt be a problem... go for it!

actually from wat i know only liquids change in colder temperaturees. and they dont compact(put water in a bottle fill to top put a lid on iy and wat happens?). although glass is a liquid because of its alreadyslow moving state i dont think that cold would do much to it.

I wasn't too worried about the glass, I mean the windows in my truck are glass... Definitely the seals is what concerns me. I guess I'll just make sure it's really dry.
Thanks

Ive moved plenty of tanks in my day and never had one not hold water. The concern is when glass gets realy hot and then it cools down to fast. Normaly not an issue unless theres a deffect in the glass. The silicone is use in applications out door all the time and i would not be concerned about any of it. Pad the tank and just make sure it doesnt slide all of ther place. I dont think youll have to worry but if you take a nice bumb doing 70 the tank might get some air and come down a bit weird. Tie it down so it doesnt go all over the place, and you should have water "all over the place".

No WAY! I'm going to school in Platteville, but I'm moving back home to La Crosse in the middle of March for my internship. I'm originally from Galesville.

i know a few people from galesville but not many. i think 3 total lol. I used to do construction for a company out there, Simmons Construction.
