i have some Borelyi Kadango fry in my main tank in a floting breeding trap but i have need to do a water change but i use out side water which is cold just wondering if it would kill the fry i also have a very big catfish which likes to splash around and i am scared it would hit the breeding trap and spill the fry back into the tank just wondering if i can move them to a diffrent tank but it would not be the same water would do u think i could do like a drip into a bucket to make them eclimatised or would they die?

could i not transfer them to a already established tank and leave them in the plastic hatchery there till they are big enough?

carefully use a siphon (gravel vac) and suck them into the 10gal it should be fairly easy i instructed a kid to do this while i was at work
my bad i didnt real the whole post
use 80% tank water then 20% new water u should be good
