I would like to move a 6in pleco because I recently put a large piece of decor in his tank for the little fishes in that tank and now the pleco considers the entire piece of decor and 5inches in every direction as his. He has decided to defend the decor (a two ft fallen log type thing) to the death, which the cory cats do not care for. The tank has lots of decor and space to swim, but the pleco is apparently in love all of a sudden.

I could move him to a 55 with a 5in male green texas or in a 55 with a juvi oscar. Both tanks only contain one fish with sand substrate, decor and fake plants.

However, I have a feeling that both are bad options. So can I move him or am I setting up a new tank for his taboo love?

BTW, I forget the species of the pleco but he his not one of those that get supper huge like a gibby.
