Can I purchase longer hosing for my FX5?

I am finally getting around to setting up my long standing empty 265 but the tank seems to be a little high for hose that comes with the filter.

Sit the filter on something like a milk crate or block of wood. If you're pumping that high you're going to lose A LOT of flow.

How high is the tank?You could always buy some some hose and cut it as need be.

I"ve seen were guys use pvc pipe all the way to the canister.. u might try a serach?? good luck.. u can buy new tubing on ebay also..

I replaced mine with 1" flex hose right away. I think the ribbed hose would catch krud and slow water flow. I haven't had any troubles at all

1" vinyl tubing and stainless steel hose clamps. Nuff said!

You'll still need the vinyl tubing though.

I have made an update to the setup in my 345 build in my sig (changed sprinkler part). This is just one of many builds but I hope it helps.

As far as the height, are you just saying that by cutting one hose in half that it won't be long enough? If so, you can always buy a second hose but be warned that the further the distance traveled the lower the performance will be.

I just went to home depot and bought tubing. Mine was only 7 bucks for 10 ft.
