yeah maybe because it can swim in circles
 
the shape doesn't favor the arowana. i would be uncomfortable looking at an arowana moving in circles all the time.
 
Three times the length. So that tank would be good for an arowana up too about 16".
 
i supposed u can, but it would look funny keeping an aro in hex style tank?
its just look cruel because of that tank shape, if it were long style its another story
 
id go more with a tank with length so the arowana has room to move, instead of just circles. Might make you both dizzy
