Had an emergency in the pond and removed the fry from the mother and father... Im switching them over to a 75 gallon aquarium.. Can I now put the fry back in with the mother and father? Or will there be problems???

Need an answer pretty quickly.. Im wore out and the fry are in a 5 gallon bucket right now LOL

If it's only been a short time, yes, if not they will be food, the parents will spawn again in a week or so. Ken

After 2-3 days of being gone...they will be eaten...cos the parent will ignor them and the other fish and them will eat them.....so ur gonna have to keep them in that buckt or in a 10g tank.....GL

I was letting them eat in the pond.. They are about 5 days old. What should I do to feed these guys. They are VERY small...

They need frozen baby brine shrimp and very fine {crumbled and crumbled again and again} flAKE food..one thing is you moved them into an outdoor pond {i am assuming}{which has a zillion types of parasites} so it definitly would not be advisable to put them back with parents and or any other fish until they are quarenteened for a few weeks.. the bucket idea is not a good one since you cannot heat it, have no filtration and no bubbles or airstone.. you need a small tank with water from the other tank and complete set up..

These guys are about the size of a period maybe smaller on the computer screen... Im not positive I can get the flakes crumbled enough for them to eat them lol

well that is why they really need baby brine.. but take a tiny bit of flakes between your fingers and and ground it down the best you can.. they sound so tiny..how did you ever get them back out of the pond?
