Can I put in 2pbass?

My son and I are building a plywood tank 8'x2'x2', approx 265g. I really like the look of the pbass. I would like to have 2 pbass, a few oscars, and some sort of catfish that doesnt get the size of a VW BUG. 2 cichla in a tank that size is certainly doable. just stay away from the monster species like temensis, pinima, and azul. kelberi or orinocensis would be perfect
