can i put plants from another tank into my tank

i got some plants they had in there fish tanks they look healthy so i got them i was wondering can i put them in my 55 gallon tank that im setting up

i keep chiclids, the plants came out of a chiclid tank at the store

Cichlids like to tear plants up, but you never know.
You could try it and have great success!

you can use plants, nothing wrong with them, but the only problem you will have is that cichlids like to dig and create their territory and spawning areas...then ur plants will float. you can always put them back where ever you please. maybe if you have dwarf cichlids that might work.

ive tried live plants and my big cichlids always tore them up. they even bust up my plastic ones once in awile. maybe you will have better luck then i did.

It depends on wich cichlids you have. there are lots of cichlids that are plant friendly.
