can i put this fish with my silver arowana???

i was wondering if i could put and aropaima gigas with me silver arowana, i only want the aropaima for about a year because i wont be able to keep it long because it will grow out any tank haha

for a while, but i recomend you dont get the arapaima. their growth rate is to fast to keep up with (i've heard 4-6 feet in 1-2 years), and rehoming them is very hard, dont rely on a zoo or aquarium to take it cause they wont unless they want one and they can get one on their own if they choose to. and most other hobbyists wont take it cause they cant house it and you've already raised it past the fun, cute stage of their life.

Use common sense and forget a year...arapaima probably wouldnt last a month in a 125...
