pvc works wonders.... looks more natural then a pop bottle.... plus fish wont get stuck in a pvc like they can in a pop bottle...
Unless the theme of his tank is how we trash our waterways. Just make sure it can't fall or roll into anything hard. You really don't want to be finding broken glass the hard way and neither does your eel.
Someone actually did a slightly poluted/trashed theme and it looked pretty good...not sure if that is the motif that Brizo is going for though.
