can i use all sponge filters for my 30 gal

i was wondering if i used those sponge filters that connect to the air pump on my 30 gal long if that would be ok and keep my water clean and what size of a airpump and how many sponges

It's okay but depend on the type of fish you want to keep in the 30g. Sponge filter is not suitable for fish that produce heavy bio load and require fequent cleaning.

that makes sense its for 2 3inch flowerhorns just for a few months what would be the best what type of filter and set up they poop alot lol
