can i use an LED light for plants??

Can I use a tank to keep fish in or is it too small?
Do you see the shortcomings of your question?
What LED to grow what plants?
Many people, myself included, are having tremendous success growing plants (and corals) under LEDs.
The key factor is that the LEDs used are of an appropriate size, colour temperature, and number as relevant to the dimsions, species and other variables of the setups in question.

What LEDs are you considering for what setup to grow what plants?

yes you can, it works.

All depends on the whole setup. More info needed as far as tank dimensions, type of led you are planning, and type of plant

Here's 270 watts worth of Cree XRE goodness :headbang2

Can anyone out there help me??
There really is no info given on the LED kits you want to use. Just by looking at the kits they come in though, I can tell you they are the dimmest of the dimmest when it comes to LED lighting. Most of that stuff is used merely for accent lighting. I doubt you'll be able to grow anything with those lights, aside from anubias.
