can i use coppersafe with my teacup ray?

I am 99.9% sure that any copper is not ray safe. What are you trying to treat? There is a list of ray safe medications and their uses in the sticky section. Using any medication with rays can be risky I would make sure it is needed before proceeding.

Yes i think this would be very bad idea for sure while heavy metals like copper work well they are very potent and likely bad for the ray not to mention tuff to get out of the tank....

ive read the sticky but i dont know much about any of those medications im a noob to them... im trying to prevent my ray from gettin the bacteria/parasite that my arowana and scomb payara got.. the ray is very healthy for the past two years..shes eating frozen

plus i figured copper would be the best decision right now since melifix didnt work i just wanna use copper so it will destroy everything nasty in my tank

Copper is very dangerous with scaleless fish I would not use it. I would first identify what you are trying to treat and then go from there, pictures may help if you can take some

alright i wont use it, thanks for the advice...it has to be something internal because there is nothing visible and they just stop eating for all the sudden and die a week or two later.. my vampire tetra had something that ate away the lining of the stomache..

You may want to try soaking food in prazi if they are still eating. I don't have any experience treating parasites hopefully someone else can help more
