Can i use kiddy pool pond for 1 RTC?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The main problem with alot of kiddy pools is depth, as sometimes a cat likes to go vertical (not always but every so often) Provided that it has hard plastic sides and you arn't planning to use this as a perm home and only as a short term home... no problem

If I were you I would get one of the stock tanks(rubbermaid tubs) for the 300gal one here its $209 with tax and everything, or you could do the metal framed pools like some people do. 12' ones are like $99 OR, lol, build yourself a wood framed pond and go to lowes or home depot and get some liner for it. That's the best thing IMO, you can make it the size you want and it can be his home for the long run.

^^^^^^^I agree.
but if it is just a temporary solution go ahead.

what part of asia u from ? anyway, depends on what kinda stuff the pond/tub/kiddy pool is made of. RTCs are strong. U must already know that considering that urs is already 13-15 inches.

Just check the strength of the walls. I agree with the depth aspect as well.

yes my RTC is so strong at that size.. the kiddy pool pond was just my temporary solution, because i was kinda feeling sorry for the RTC because his friend the silver arowana is starting to whack him in the head.
