i have heard both answers to this question. some say DO NOT, some say its OK. if you do add salt its best to add salt with as little additives as possible. look out for iodide, potassium, and anti-caking agents. certain ph levels can turn them into harmful gases. also some aquarium salt can have additives in it as well. i completely dissolve the salt into a small cup of water from the aquarium and then add it in SLOWLY. the object is to not shock them. i have had great results from salt and heat for ich and wounds on certain types of fish.

BY NO MEANS AM I SAYING TO GO FOR IT. i am just giving you some ideas of how the process works. i would recommend doing a bit more research in the snakehead section of this site.

what are you trying to treat anyways?

Salt, Garlic, Touch of cayenne and some fresh ground pepper wrap it in foil and place on the bbq flip after 10 min flip after 5 min, open and squeeze fresh lime and enjoy.

just kidding
