Those pads look like they are going to clog up real quick in a top shelf. Maybe use something more corse in the top and use those on the bottom for micro polishing.

DO NOT! use the green pads!!!! pot scrubbies are an exellent choice just dont ruin it with the green scour pads. I bought 50+ packs of these green scour pads a few years ago and they eventually break down releasing small green scour particles into the water. It is a serious pain to get out of your other media and tank. I thought i was having algea blooms for the longest time thats how green these pads made my water. They eventually lose all the green and turn white!

did kno that i rinse mine like 5 times before use and green stuff came out but just the first 2 or 3 times i been having them like a month n i haven had a problem but ill look into that

100 Gallons...I also use a Marineland 360 Canister for mechanical/chemical filtration
