can i use this in my tank

can i use this, i got it from my grandma's and i think it's clay but not sure and i don't want to put it in there and have it leach crap in my tank and kill my fish

is it glazed? if so it should be fine.

i'd put it in a small tank with out any fish and monitor everything for a bit
