Can I wash new pool filter sand inside aquarium?

I am setting a new 360 gallon aquarium, lots of sand to rinse lol

I don’t plan on adding fish a couple weeks after setting up regardless can I just dump and do water changes to clean

Would be hours faster than rinsing everything in a bucket

You can. Running a water polisher would help as well. It's going to take a lot of water changes though, just to warn you. What kind of sand is it?

Filters will def. clean it out… problem will arise when u add fish tho and they stir it up again. No way around washing sand before hand sadly.
