ok so the other day i stopped by petsmart to get a leopard leaf fish, but then something really grabbed my attention: they were selling red texas chiclids, the staff said that only one was a red texas, but i then saw another one (classic petsmart) and so i was wonedering, could i trade my leaf fish for a 2 inch red texas as a tankmate for my 1 inch black nasty chiclid(a.k.a haitian chicid/odo

I don't think so. it took me about 10 seconds of research to figure that out and I have had no experience with any of those three types of fish. you weren't even willing to take 2 seconds to read my post, much less read my post and take the 10 seconds to look it up yourself.
I'm pretty sure no one here will believe your upset about anything other than the money you wasted.
 
Nandopsis haitiensus is best kept alone, what it can't kill, stresses it out into disease. It is also best kept at warmer temps than most fish, and lots of partial water changes (2-3 per week)
