Can Jardini live in this tank for live?

Just picked up a tank last night, 44"x45"x21", is it enough to house a jar for live? the width is great but it's not very long so I'm not sure if it'll cut it.

That is really wide. I dont know, I think aros lke to swim back and forth rather than all around.

The length doesn't sound to great but it would be over 60"+ diagonally being such a square tank if you get what I mean.It would be on the minimum side of things but doable IMO. There is definitely enough gallons and with little or no decor it could swim in several directions.Personally I would do it though I am sure others will dissagree...

Yeah the tank is pretty big, but in the shape of a cube. It could be doable, but not really what an Aro would like, in my opinion.

thanks guys, that's what I was guessing as well.. wish it's longer but then I won't be able to move it down to my basement. will have to think of something else to stock it with.

I reckon youd get a long time out of it.

Its almost square so he can go around and around.

So like a 4 foot by 4 foot; make sure u secure your coverglass since its got so much surface area.

Yeah, on 2nd thought its not that bad. I figure the Jar may just swim in a circle around the tank.
