I have tank size of 6 ft X 2 ft X 2 ft.

Currently it houses a single (I think its male) Ornate Bichir of about 10 inch. With 12 inch Sail Fin pelco.
I want to buy a Red eye gaint gourami that is about 13 inch @ fish shop near me. It has pointed fin and good hump on head... class pinkish white coloration.. I like / in love with GG.

but is it safe to house them both..??? Help and advice needed.

We have a Giant Gourami in with our Ornate Bichirs and there is no problem. Watch your pleco though that he doesn't suck on your Bichir.

Need 1 more suggestion..

my new G gourami is very active.. alert.. to every moment. But refuses to eat. Now it has been nearly 8-10 hrs since he is in new tank.

Thank u..

sucker is a good boy. He know what to suck. ;):p
I would still watch carefully. It only takes one time for the pleco to cause serious damage. And while it may seem as if the pleco is innocent and wouldn't do anything like that, that's what almost everyone thinks before a pleco actually does suck on the slimecoat.

It looks like your Gourami is a female. She may not eat for a day or 2 they tend to pout when moved.
