Ok for all you tank builders out there. I have a question, can I replace the back panel on my 180 all glass tank with plywood? It's 1/2 glass and I cracked it trying to get a bulkhead off. Could it be set it in like a new glass panel would be? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

I think what you would want to do is glue the plywood to the existing cracked glass. I think I have seen thefishguy do something similar before though I’m not sure where maybe shoot him a pm. Your other option is to price out a new piece of glass it might be just about as cheap by the time you buy the plywood and the coating to make it waterproof or you also have a few good pieces of glass from your broken tank to do your own plywood tank.

Yes you can use plywood. I would build a trim or something to attach it the tank, coat it with epoxy or whatever and I'm pretty sure you can silicone it on.
