Hi...I have a question, Im getting two 65 gallon tanks that sit one on top of the other. I live in a one story house with a basement. Do you all think my house can hold the weight of the 2 tanks? I wouldnt be as worried if it were one tank and the weight was dispersed a little more. Essentially it is 130 gallons of water in a 48 by 1.5 foot or something area...im kinda worried. What do you guys think? The house was built in the 40s or 50s, something like that! Thanks in advance.

And now I need to know how to delete a thread because I already posted this once, but thought the site messed up....sorry:]

You should be fine.. Think about some people who have 300+ gallons and have 5-6 200 pound friends standing around their tank talking about it at a party, now that's alot of weight.. It all depends on the quality of your floor. If it was built solid, you should be good to go..

I have a 150gal 6ftx2ftx20 on a 6th floor.
.... abd a 30 breeder.... and a 20long.... and a 2.5

Try to put it against a wall. More likely to have more support near the wall.

Took down 2.5 and 20long. Instead made a divider for one setup and the 30 breeder is never full all the way.
