Can ortho fully submerged?

Ortho being what? I'm not familiar with any plant by that name, except the definitely non-aquatic bromeliad genus Orthophytum.

I have pothos in my discus q tank. any leaves that are under water will eventually turn yellow and die. The cool thing is, you can snip pothos and grow it in water. They grow pretty quick, and I have a bunch in my beta tank growing at work. Once they grow, I snip them and take them home and put them in the tank. You can keep extras growing so that once those die, you just replace them.

My gf's mom has pothos that grow like weeds. It's pretty massive. I took a few branches and put them in my sump fully submerged. You said it might turn yellow so im going let the leaves a few inches above water.
