Can two different species of peacock bass be kept together? I currently have 3 silver arowanas (18") and two plecos and am thinking about getting an oscellaris (6") and an orinocensis (5"). There's two orino's at the fish store going for $120 usd and an oscellaris at a different store going for $60 usd. Im definately getting the oscellaris, but am wondering if i should get one or both orinos or just another oscellaris.
Can Oscellaris and Orinocensis get along?

Yeah they're $120 each. Any Peacock bass is pretty rare in Las Vegas, especially ones that are 6"+. I mostly see 1-2" going for about $15. How much are they typically in California?

Are the 2 orinos at Luckys? If they are, those were mine. I was selling 3 orinos a few weeks ago at $40 each and only one got sold. I believe the ocell you are talking about is at Trop aquarium. I would stay away from that one cause it looks unhealthy.
How many cichlas did you see at Luckys? I brought in 2 orinos, 2 ocells and 1 mono. I heard the ocell was going for $150....and i was asking $50. I wonder if any got sold.
Damn lol, were you posting on CL? Unfortunately i already put the down payment on the ocellaris at Trop lol, so im stuck with it. Last time i went to lucky, there was two large ocellaris, one large orino, 3 medium mono, 2 (5-6") orino, 2 small kelberi and one small ocellaris.

Yeah i thought about putting on CL but i wasnt sure about the policy and have heard about people trying to selling fish and getting their ad deleted. The orino you are getting was the 2nd biggest from the batch and was my favorite because of all the extra spangling it had. Sucks you paying alot more but its an awesome cichla.
