I was wondering if a paroon shark can tolerate salt because today, when I woke up I saw that my paroon shark was badly torn up but its still swimming. The paroons about 2-3 inches and is currently in a 20 gallon tank with an angelfish and a albino senegal bichir. I suspect that its the bichir that attacked my paroon but does anyone know if angelfishes are aggressive? Is there any other way I can help my paroon's wounds heal?

You don't need salt if you have good water quality and he stops being picked on. Angels can be aggressive, but it really depends on the fish. With good water quality (ammonia - 0, nitrite -0, and nitrate - below 20) he should heal very quickly. You don't list your current water parameters -- are you sure this is related to aggression, and not some other issue? For example, if he has torn fins, yes, it could be aggression, but it could also be fin rot, due to water quality. Definitely check params., and if you come to the conclusion that it is aggression, I would move this fish. Salt isn't going to fix the problem if he's getting his a** beat every night.

Phongtran, you will not need salt here. Just do daily water changes and maintain the water quality in tiptop condition. What exactly are the water parameters? What test kit do you use? Did you observe the other tankmates beating him around at all? Do you have photos of the affected areas? Failing to answer any questions at all will not help us figure out what exactly caused the torn fins.
