If yes, what are the parameters?? thanks

If you're talking about the hybrid parrots, they can, but it's rare. Usually the males are sterile from what I understand. If it's going to happen, good clean IN tap water will do the trick:)

like rally said its rare but i have heard it happen before. they don't need anything special to breed though... just a tank to themselves preferably.

The fertility rate of females is higher than that of males, so you could try a mix if you think the offspring would look cool.

My convict crosses bred back to a pure convict. Of course they r convicts.

Convicts will spawn with a rock if they wanted to.

Most Blood parrots that are breeding will constantly lay eggs, but as a result, the eggs always turn foul. To have enough luck to own a pair of fertile B.P's is pretty cool. Most times, you either have one or the other.

the pair i have has laid lots of eggs, but they have gotten eaten....Grrrr.....

Parents will often eat the eggs if they sense that they have not been fertilized.

My female has a 80% hatch rate but there are few males that are Fertile and few farms will sell there fertile males most breeders use a ZZ Flowehorn with Blood parrots to make a Kumfa flowerhorn i have about 300 fry of those.

Where do all these blood parrots come from then? I am truly confused:confused:

I really like the Kamfa flowerhorn though, I would get one if I had room for it.
