Can red belly piranhas live with Senegal bichirs?

No. they even kill pleco's eventually. I've had cichlids kill Bichirs so yeah they would not last with Piranhas thats for sure.
Their immense bite force (for their size) and their razor-sharp teeth makes it impossible for them to be housed in small tanks with anybody else.
It'll be 6 rbps at 2 inches each in a 125g with 2-7 inch senegals.. is it possible? There's plenty of plants and hiding spots.

The wife wants me to get rid of one of my tanks... I'm keepin the 125 but don't really want to get rid of my bichirs.. they have wicked awesome personalities.. lol

no there is no way of keeping them together maybe you'll get lucky and it might work for awhile but sooner or later theybichirs will make a really easy meal.... i've heard of people keeping tetras with ADULT piranhas
