i want to buy a small redsnake head ,10 cm

i have 3 tank that i want to know wich best to keep it in

1- 240 liter (arowana-giant gourami-bichir-angle-mono-barb)
2- 110 liter (flowerhorn "15cm" - softshell turtel)
3- 80 liter (green texas "10 cm")

so ... i know the snkae head can be very larg and aggresive

but for 10 cm red snake head

is it ok to put it in one of the above ?

Yes, it will easily kill a flowerhorn, or any other cichlid for that matter......>A Larger Dovii, Umbee, Pike, Flowerhorn, Midas, Red Devil, Red Terror......does not matter, sooner or later, they would all be killed........Giant Snakeheads get a lot larger, are alot faster and have a rediculously armed mouth....Cichlids are not built to cope with this fish.

i see

fortunately, i have an empty tank a i will put the snakehead in it

or i will just devide my green texas tank

thnx sicxspeed

I agree, the chances that a red snakehead can co-exist with those fish are pretty slim...

Another thing that you need to be aware of...
They get real big, real fast!!..you do know that they grow to around 1m in length??
So, with all respect for you tanks..they are all too small to house an adult red.
As a grow out tank they are fine though.

yes i know

that why i want to buy small one untile i buy a new tank (150 cm) in the near future

today i bought one (15 cm $4) and put it with the green texas

it's been 5 hours and the fishs stile fine and there is no fights between them

if they stay like this i will consider to keep them together for a few months until i buy new tank

your new tank will need to be at least 6'x3'x2' high for one adult red with a filtration system to match
