Well now another fish has these white spots. These are the fish I got from the fishfarm. All are male peacock/hap cichlids, around 3" - 4". My Benga has these white cyst like spots, some look like they have burst. Like his scales are "peeling" He is the only one like this.

I posted last week wondering if another of my fish had ick. Everyone agreed it looked like aggression, or possibly parasites. I had previously added extra salt, and had the temp up to 84 degrees for a week. Some of the fish did have stringy poop so I used JungleLabs Parasite Clear. ..after that the fish that was originally "infected" cleared up. All fish look good except this guy now. Also, a lot of the fish are breathing rapidly. All fish are eating very well and swimming normally. Occasionally a few will flash, but nothing major. Doing weekly 25% wc. Just did one this pm.

My parameters are:

NH3 is 0
NO2 is 0
NO3 is 10
PH 8
GH 11
KH 14
Temp 79

Tank is a 120g (5ft) . Around 20 fish. Using a wet/dry and 2 AC110's. Powerhead. I just added 2 airstones this afternoon. Fish are eating Xtreme Aquatics and Kens's Cichlid Pellets, twice a day.

So does this guy have ich?

Yea, it really does look like ich on that one. With salt and heat you're supposed to keep it up for 10 days or 3 days after you see the last spot. You might not have kept the salt/heat up long enough. You did great by using the Parasite Clear though. You did everything that I'd have done except I'd have kept up the salt/heat for 10 days.

So when fish have ick, the bubbles pop like that? I've never seen it before (in person) I didn't keep the heat up for long because I didn't think it was ick, just thought it was parasites. Should I use clout or ick attack?

I had a batch of Loaches with ich, I used salt and heat but yes-their skin looked like......it was flaking off. It may've been because they have such thin sensitive skin, I don't know. I don't even know for sure if your fish has ich, but it looks like it. I wouldn't use any meds at all. I'd go with the salt/heat. You probably won't need to keep it up for longer than 5 days or so before all spots are gone.

Bump. Anyone else, if this is ich, should I use clout/quick cure or wait out salt/heat? Ive had the heat up to 84degress for the past two days (since original post) and the fish has more spots. All other fish are still kind of breathing rapidly but no others have spots.

Add one tablespoon per 5 gallons. With the high temperature the spots might disappear then reappear after reproduction. Just keep the salt at one tablespoon per 5 gallons and it should kill the parasites during reproduction stage.
