Whats Up MFK....I havent posted in a while & just wanted to Reintroduce Myself & Offer My Propers...

The bright red finned pirahna at the top of the page ? I've never seen such a beautiful pirahna. Anyone have a name ? Also....If it's not asking too much ? Would any of You guys mind posting a pic of Your favorite Pirahna's to school Me on some of the more obscure varieties. I'm thinking of starting a Pirahna tank soon am not sure on My route ?

I'm thinking of going to Shark to look soon anyone have any other reputable places to look in the NY NJ PA areas ?

Thanks In Advance,

J.

kind of looks like a juvi maculipinnis

body shape is off and maculipinnis have those spots all over the body from a small size...you're right they're the only ones that have all red fins afaik

Thanks Guys....

If Massive Agression Is The Place To Go The I Will Look Into Them....Anyone Have A Link ?

If Anyone Else Has Any Idea On The Classification of That Fish I'd Greatly Appreciate It.

Thanks Again,

J.

I would ask frank first, but also ask george @ shark aquarium. www.piranha-fury.com is a better site for you to get an id on him. Frank used to be a staple there but has recently left that site.

I honestly believe that is a species that isn't brought in due to cost.
