hi every one i had just bought a 10 inch silver arowana and i put it in my 60gal tank and i dont know what to feed him can some on help me?
 
Try Bloodworms, Krill Shrimp, or stick food. Theyll eat anything if there hungry enough.

My aro goes nuts for freeze dried Krill, Gave him some good color as well.
 
Isn't that tank a little small for an Arro?
 
I hope its just a grow out tank....but crickets will make your aro go nuts:)
 
When i had mine it was on pellets, shrimp, feeders, floatin sticks, grasshoppers, moths, baby mice, and various other things i wish it hadn't of eaten.....lol...
 
Hiya tenzokenny, welcome to MFK.
As I am sure you know, you will soon need a bigger tank. From what I have seen, aros are easy to feed.
 
I would go with Hikari Food Sticks. They are on the expensive side but my Jardini ate it on the second day. Just throw on pellet in at a time and if he doesnt eat it get it out of the water after like 10 minutes. Silvers from my experience cant find food as easily as a Jardini. When you put your pellets in make sure he sees you put it in. If your silver doesnt know its food it wont eat it. You have to pellet train it. Also avoid live foods as they carry diseases and parasites. If you feed it feeders it can get Hole in the head which is a dreadful disease if not taken care of properly. I raised my Jardini on the Food Sticks and it has grown to its maximum in a short amount of time in the tank I provided. Change your water at least once every 7 days. The secret to Aro's is clean water and lots of "clean" food. It may take up to 7 days to "train" your aro to eat pellets but its worth it once it starts accepting it on a regular basis. A large Aro can wait you out on food for some time so be patient. If it is healthy then it will eat eventually.

trying to get my jardini on that diet.....try some beefheart all the aros i ever had loved it
