i have a scooter blenny in my tank that has been up and running for just about 7 months. i had alot of brownish algae growning on my ornaments and back wall of the aquarium. now pretty much all of my algae is gone except the back wall of the aquarium and im worried that he ate himself out of food already. ive only had him in the tank for like 4 days, and he had it cleaned after the first two or three. any ideas on food? i did live brine shrimp and he ate a bunch, but i was also reading about these pods in a bottle(Marine Nutrition) to put into your tank as food for these guys.

also, my live sand question:
i know after a period of time your substrate becomes "live" from the bacteria in there. is there any type of pods i should put into my sand for him? should i take a turkey baster and inject some of the pods i buy in the bottle into the sand? or just get some live sand to mix in? i may have even gotten live sand i just may not know it. i grabbed a bag of sand and it was already slightly wet, i just didnt take notice to whether it was live or not.

i would recomend the pods as a booster for the naturally occuring pods in the tank. once he eats his supply of food in the tank he will then take other foods when he gets hungry i.e. brine shrimp, blood worms, etc. you could also try the packaged strips of seaweed for food also.

sweeet an answer from someone. thank you very much. hes eating live blackworms like crazy and brine shrimp when i get some from the store. the pods im getting this weekend hopefully with some live rock also.
