can someone id this cat

ok so the guy at the pet shop said i was a blue channel but idk if that is evan a real fish, i know there are blue catfish and channel catfish but i never herd of a blue channel cat fish. also it doesnt really have any black spots like a channel. take a look see at the pic (its the bigger cat in the pic not the small bullhead)

A blue channel catfish is just a name that was given by the lfs to the channel catfish so your is just a channel catfish.

ya thats what i thought, was just unsure cus it didnt really have any black spots like most young channels

Around here we have channel cats and blue channel cats in the river. The local Cabela's even has several very large blue cannel cats and that little guy looks like he has that blue.
