The guy told me it was a bumblebee goby (yeah right). I thought it was a knight goby, but when I saw a pic of a knight goby i compared it with my fish and doesn't seem to look like one.

Can Someone ID this guy pls...

I have seen those frequently in the past, but the name escapes me at the moment. This should not be in the marine/brackish water section as they are freshwater gobies. They are awesome fish though. I've had some. They grow to about 10 inches, and are in fact quite friendly with other fish.

Maybe a juvenile Jade Sleeper Goby...Dormitator maculatus. That's what my guys looked like when they were little.

As far as food, pretty much anything goes. I think they are the definition of omnivorous. I feed them krill, cichlid pellets, algae discs, silver sides, haddock, shrimp, and vegetable pieces.

They are not picky at all. If it fits in their mouth, they will probably eat it.

YES - Dormitator maculatus, Jade Goby - that's the one. They are full freshwater and eat anything.

Here are a couple of pics of my two Jades in adult coloration. I took these tonight so don't mind the calcium deposits on the tank...I didn't feel like cleaning. They don't have their full color because I just turned on the tank light to take pics...but you get the idea.

They are about 8-9". Great fish...you'll love 'em. They are the clowns of my tank...you never know what weird stuff they will do next.
