Hi,

Just bought this fish 2 days ago. Could'nt find the info on the net. Somebody pls identify this fish. The LFS told me it was a variant of marbled goby came from Indonesia.

Need to know the Sci/Common names, size and caresheets for this fish.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks to all for your response esp. to aussiemonsters for identifying this fish.
I've read about it...well, the max size is only 34 cm...it's not going to be a monster.

Anyway, I like the colors and so far no problem with feeding...ate market prawn, chopped fish the first day i bought it and mix well with other fishes eg. datnoid, clown knife, peacock bass. ( abt same size )

Thanks again MFK's.

Heres a pic of one caught in a brackish lake near my home while fishing with a surface lure that mimics a prawn skipping on the surface, was quite surprised.

Hi aussiemonsters,

Wow...nice catch, looks like this fish is easy to hook on!!

Mine already stabled and the colours looks the same like the one you've posted....a bit purplish at the bottom.

Thanks mike..:headbang2
