Can someone ID this PB bass?

Hey everyone, not a peacock bass owner (not yet at least) but I went to the Los Angeles Zoo with a friend to check out the new Amazon Exhibits. In the exhibit of the Green Tree Boa, there is an aquarium right under the snake's vines. Inside was a nice looking cichla, which I'm guessing is an orino (it wasn't labled anywhere, quite odd for a zoo). Can't be a kelberi, that's for sure.

Since when did kelberis have these spangles? I've only seen these spangles in azul and orinos....

Wait...check out the tail. Is this sub sp. F2? How did this get into a zoo?

Since it's a zoo I'll assume it's wild caught. But the zoo put cardinals and rams with the bass and people were wondering where they went.....obviously inside the bass' belly

This is without a doubt a Bahia Kelberi.
