According to current science, RRS, spilos, and Macs are all S. Maculatus. True S. Spilopluera aren't the "gold piranha" we've known them as.
So with that being said, I'd pretty readily say this is a Mac. Whether it is/was a ruby red is up to how it looks now. Does it have orange and red? If yes, then its a Ruby red. If not, then its still a beautiful Mac.
