These are from Coastal Guyana in a flooded forest. Can anyone identify these? One i know is Apistogramma but i don't know which species or the identity of the other. DSCN1910.JPGDSCN1233.JPG

Im pretty sure the ones below are Apistogramma something, because I caught a dominant male in the group too, with vivid red coloring. The top may be a blue acara. thanks!

Having second thoughts on the 1st now...looks to be maybe an Acaronia Nassa "Bigeye Cichlid/Basketmouth"? Its kinda hard to tell :(

Can you try getting a pic of the ones below all colored up? would help a ton

Found out Acaronia Nassa's can be found in the Essequibo drainage in Guyana...

Acaronia Nassa's also have red-gold cast on the body...

Ill try but right now Mosterfishkeepers is giving me a failure notice for the upload so ill have to try later. All colored up they have a dark bar through the eye and down the side with a lot of red and orange on the body and fin tips. Sorry for the quality. This was taken in an improvised tent in the middle of the jungle.

Ya, I don't think its working for anyone...when you go to insert image look into the bottom right corner and click basic uploader, then browse and upload your picture...should work

Or you could just upload the pics to imageshack or something and paste the link

Heres the other ones colored up. A ton of red on them. black through the eye and body. Also a pic of the bigger one. I know the leaf fish is Schaumbergi or something like that. I also have an unidentified crenicichla:
