Can someone please, help me correct my grammar and orthography

Hi

I want to upload a video of my tank on youtube. I wrote the description on english but I dont want to embarras myself. So if someone have a couple of minutes, tell me if there's something wrong with it.

This is my500L ( 133Gal), it’s been running for about two years now. It’s equipped with afilter 180L (42Gal) and with an automatic water changer system which Ideveloped for my career thesis statement (This one has been working on the tank for 3months and I promise I will upload in a couple of weeks a video of the system working.

*About the heart parrot fish. I bought from a friendof mine a school of parrot fish but leave this one behind, after some time the heart parrot continuedalone in the tank and my friend was on a hurry selling his fish so I felt bad for the female heart parrot andtake it with me. Please don’t buy this kind of fish, they’re the result ofcutting off the tail with scissors while at a young age so as it grows the bodyproduce sort of a “heart” shape.

I have keptparrot fish for several years and they’re very friendly fish. I ‘m perfectlyaware of their origin and gave them the best conditions of life I can.

Don't be an ass, maybe english isn't his first language

To JT: I'm not sure what this means "which I developed for my career thesis statement"

and I editted this to make it sound better, "I bought it from a friend of mine at school who had parrot fish but left this one behind"

The firts one, I'm mechanic enginner and after the end of the career I have to present a work for receiving my title (thesis), so my thesis was developing an automatic water changer for fresh water aquariums.

The second I'm trying to said I bought a school of blood parrots (a group of blood parrots) but left the heart parrot one behind.

and of course english isn't my firt languaje ¬¬
